WHERE TO DRINK WINE - SOUTH COAST NSW
The beautiful South Coast of NSW and it's surrounds have some wonderful places to drink wine. I love supporting local businesses, especially in these times, so here is a few places that I know you can further indulge in wine.
TWO FIGS WINERY
Bolong rd, Berry
Delicious wines and the friendliest cellar door staff. And to top it all off, the most incredible view to enjoy a glass of wine by after your tasting!
I recommend the full tasting list and a local produce plate full of cheese and other specialties. Fun tip, cute leashed puppers are welcomed here.
MOUNTAIN RIDGE WINERY
Coolangatta Rd, Coolangatta
Outstanding wines and an amazing full restaurant.
I recommend a wine tasting followed by lunch (or breakfast). Book ahead to avoid dissapointment.
PONTE BAR AND DINING
Wharf rd, Nowra
This place has the biggest and the best wine list around by far! By both the glass and the bottle. They have over 90 wines by the glass, all made possible by the ultra lux Coravin system. With a glorious spot pearched above the Shoalhaven river, this place is so worth a visit.
I recommend treating yourself to a glass of one of their premium French red wines, think a Bordeaux or Burgundy, and pairing it with a starters plate.
HAMPDEN DELI, DINING & SCHOOL
HAMPDEN WINE LOUNGE
Moss Vale rd, Kangaroo Valley
Both of these incredible places are a great place to have a wine or two. From the Deli grab some fresh handmade lunch, a coffee then a wine before exploring Kangaroo Valleys shopping offerings. Then return from an afternoon indulging in wine from their Wine Lounge.
I recommend settling in to the Wine Lounge, exploring their boutique wine list, all while snacking on a pizza or a scrumptious platter.
